Saw my back muscles for the first time today. Meaning that I saw back muscles for the first time today. :D

If only what was back there, were up front…oh well. I’ll take those over nothing. Thank you, kickboxing! 

Found a beautiful bikini for Hawaii today!

Certainly provides an extra boost of motivation to work even harder to look gorgeous in it in a month!! I may not be where I had hoped to be when I began this journey four months ago, but I’m a helluva lot closer than I would be if I had never begun at all! I’m disappointed in the minor failures I’ve had thus far, but I don’t regret beginning and I certainly don’t plan on quitting!

All natural, all healthy day today!

I feel like I need one (or a few) of these right now. The past week hasn’t been the greatest—not horrible, but enough to likely stall any weight-loss for a while. Today will help me get back on track though! Such a different environment, living at home compared to at school.

Eat right, feel right. Eat bad, feel bad.

Or do yardwork, stand around checking people out, run with some friends, then walk for another hour because you all won’t shut up a couple days in a row and you don’t feel as bad. 

Doesn’t mean you feel great, 

but the soreness takes away the edge to the ‘I ate too much’ feel.

Over my calorie goal today again, but nbd.

Everything I ate was healthy, and I was damned hungry from mowing the lawn, working out, and working. 

I suppose I’m really not worried about being over 1,500 calories any more because clearly eating at or under 1,500 was not working. I’ll try eating 95% healthy and just till I’m satisfied rather than stuffed, and eat when I’m hungry rather than forcing myself to just deal with it. We’ll see what happens. If I don’t lose weight by Hawaii, well, this is a new lifestyle, not a three week diet.
